With two tastings left this Spring, we’re taking today to dive into some great ciders out of the Hudson Valley in NY.

One of @Graft core ciders in their lineup is Birds of Paradise. It’s a Moscow Mule inspired cider that starts off bright and zesty. You’ll taste lime and gentle notes of ginger and tart hibiscus.

Their Summer hit is Salt & Sand - an Agave Margarita inspired cider with notes of Tequila, lime, and subtle salt.

👌La Robe d’Ange
This organic Corsican wine is elegant and delicious. Medium to-light bodied, aromatic, dry and spicy with strawberries, cherries and red fruit notes. Fun with a big potential. Pair with good friends, red meat, rich fish dishes and mild cheese! Enjoy! 🔅

👌Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon
My New World favorite! This California full body cab is rich and mouthfilling with dark aromas of toffee, bacon, smoke, dark cherry, berry flavor and oak - just perfectly balanced. Pair with steak, lamb and mature, hard cheese.

🧡Orange wine. It’s all the rage these days. I tend to jump on and off the bandwagon. This one I’m staying on for and plan to be all.summer.long. Sauvignon Blanc is the grape. This is from the Loire and if ever there was a quaffable orange, this it it! Clementines, chamomile, candied ginger - a slightly chewy finish. A little funk but not too much. Look for it in Alanna’s Picks or in our fridge. Organic!

🔅Compare it with Bissell Brothers Brewery - Substance Ale - Our precious flagship 6.6%. Brightly dank and designed to be just mysterious enough. Hopped with Falconer’s Flight, Centennial, Apollo, Chinook, and Simcoe.

👌One of my favorite wineries is Lieu Dit! I was so excited to try their inaugural vintage Cabernet Sauvignon. This Cab is herbaceous and full of just-ripe red and black berries, and a hint of tobacco. There are just the right amount of tannins - nice and on the lighter side for a cab!

👌Volcans D’Auvergne Lava Chardonnay Puy De Dome - 100% Chardonnay! So fresh and clean, it screams to be drank on a sunny Spring afternoon. On the nose it’s full of peach and honeydew, a little vanilla. It’s got grapefruit all the way through and a juicy finish.
